although i like many other artists, these guys have to be my top ten favorites (this was a very hard list to make)

1.AFI - they got me back into the music scene at a time when all i listened to was what was on the radio.

2.System of a down - probably the closest thing i have to a favorite metal band, these guys are awesome, have an awesome sound, and hidden messages in their songs. add that to the fact that SERJ TANKAIN is their front man and that just makes them even more amazing.

3. Muse - they also have a very unique sound and their music is just…epic.

4. Billy Talent - very catchy and i like the messages in most of their songs. also, their songs hold alot of raw emotion.

5. The Gorillaz - the closest thing to a hip-hop/rap group on my list, their songs are catchy, thoughtful, and a great mix of hip-hop and rock.

6. coldplay - their songs are very emotional and heartfelt and beautiful. what i really like is that whenever i listen to their music, i can visualize so many things.

7. Blue October - they have very heartfelt songs and most of them are very touching. aside from a few crazy ones and a very dark one. not that i mind.

8. Hellogoodbye - yeah, it’s kind of girly, but i’m a sucker for love songs. these guys have many, and they’re almost all very catchy and fun to listen to.

9. Yoko Shimomura - she makes the music for the kingdom hearts games and some other square enix games, and they’re all very beautiful and grand, even without lyrics. i also love when there’s latin lyrics in her songs. 

10. Radiohead - they have a very unique sound and they’re kind of weird, which i like.
